Ranking of poker hands from highest to lowest:

Royal flush – A hand that consists of a 10, Jack, Queen, King, and Ace of the same suit.

Straight flush – A hand that consists of five cards of the same suit in consecutive order.

Four of a kind – A hand that consists of four cards of the same rank.

Full house – A hand that consists of three cards of the same rank and two cards of another rank.

Flush – A hand that consists of five cards of the same suit, not in consecutive order.

Straight – A hand that consists of five cards in consecutive order, not necessarily of the same suit.

Three of a kind – A hand that consists of three cards of the same rank.

Two pair – A hand that consists of two cards of one rank and two cards of another rank.

One pair – A hand that consists of two cards of the same rank.

High card – A hand that does not fit any of the above categories, with the highest card being used to determine the winner in case of a tie.
